Activity Of the Month - VocabVictory
"Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind." – Rudyard Kipling
Language is the foundation of communication and expression. To enhance vocabulary and word-building skills among young learners, VocabVictory was conducted for students of Classes 1 to 5. The main objective of VocabVictory was to strengthen students' vocabulary, improve their language fluency, and foster a love for words through interactive and engaging activities.
The event was conducted in two rounds:
Round 1: A challenging Crossword Puzzle was held, testing students’ ability to recall and apply their vocabulary knowledge creatively.
Round 2: The top 5 students from Divisions A, B, and C were selected for the final round, which included:
Word Relay – Students demonstrated teamwork and quick thinking to complete word-based challenges.
Act & Guess – Students acted out words while their teammates guessed, enhancing both creative expression and word association skills.
Riddles – Students solved word-based riddles, sharpening their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
VocabVictory successfully encouraged students to think creatively and work collaboratively while enhancing their language skills. The activity fostered confidence and a deeper understanding of vocabulary, leaving students inspired and excited to continue exploring the power of words.
