The Mechanical Engineering Department of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda in association with Goa State Innovation Council organized a 1-day workshop on ‘3D Printing & Applications’ on 1st July 2022 for Secondary and Higher Secondary school teachers. The session was hosted in the Prototyping lab of the Don Bosco College of Engineering.
The topics covered in the workshop were:
- Introduction to 3D Printing and various processes.
- Applications of 3D Printing in Healthcare.
- Hands on training in Slicing software.
- Demonstration of 3D printing on FDM Machine.
The resource person for the session were Mr Ajit Salunkhe, Head of Mechanical Engineering dept, DBCE, Mr Gaurish Samant, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering dept, DBCE, Mr Sudip Faldesai, Project Officer, GSIC and Mr Siddhant Panjikar, Director, Ratan 3D World.
At the end of the 1-day session all the participants were felicitated with the certificate of participation.
