No School Bag Day – Proud To Be An Indian

“Freedom is not freedom until it gives equal rights to all.”.

(Quote taken from the internet).

Freedom in the mind, Strength in the words, Pureness in our blood, Pride in our souls, Zeal in our hearts. As the country marks its 74th Republic Day the theme for No Schoolbag Day was ‘Proud to be an Indian’

Our students of classes 1 to 5 came beautifully dressed in colors of our national flag – saffron, white and green. The corridors of the school were tastefully decorated with our national symbols, tricolor flowers and artwork related to Republic Day. Students were made aware that the constitution of India came into effect on 26th January 1950.

Various activities like collage work, art and craft activities, singing and dancing were conducted. The students took home the fluttering tricolor in the form of flowers, flags and badges.

It was a memorable day and went home with patriotism in their hearts and mind.
