The annual awards day of Vidya Vikas Academy entitled ‘Panchatatvva’ was held on Saturday, 26 August 2023 at Ravindra Bhavan Margao, Goa. The school honoured all its achievers for having attained a sterling record both in scholastic and co-scholastic domains.The program began with the rendition of the National Anthem followed by the graceful invocation dance. The traditional ceremonial lamp was lit to illuminate goodness and purity. Shri Nitin A. Kunkolienker, the president of VVM, addressed the gathering by sharing his futuristic plans to take Vidya Vikas Academy to greater heights. The Board members, Smt. Sheela H.N. Gaunekar, Adv. Pritam Morais, Shri Vikram Verlekar were also present for the awards day. The Chief Guest for the day was the celebrity singer and performer, Smt. Hema Sardesai. The school magazine, ‘Vidya Varsha’ was released on this occasion by the chief guest. Our Principal, Mrs. Joble Bijoy delivered the school annual report. The meritorious students were presented awards for their commendable achievement.
Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest conveyed to the audience the message of harmony, unity, love and the spirit of goodwill. She sang her two super-hit songs, ‘Awara Bhavaren’ and ‘Badal Pe Paon Hai’ which added to the enthusiastic vibes to the program. Adv. Pritam Morais delivered the vote of thanks.
The cultural program showcased power packed performances by students of classes 2,4,6,and 7 on the theme ‘ Panchatatvva’ depicting the essence of air, water, fire, earth and space.
The auditorium resonated with resounding applause as the students enthralled the audience with their enchanting performances. The program ended with the powerful rendition of the school anthem. It was indeed a day that left the audience in awe and admiration for the institution.
