Vidya Vikas Academy, Senior Secondary Section celebrated World First Aid Day which aims to raise awareness about the importance of first aid in saving lives. This special day is observed on the second Saturday of September every year and is celebrated globally.
In our increasingly connected world, it’s important to consider how technology can be used to save lives in emergency situations and in tune with the same belief the theme for the year 2023 is “First Aid in the Digital World” aimed to encourage all to explore the usage of digital tools and resources in providing first aid assistance and education, from smartphone apps and online videos to virtual reality simulations and telemedicine. Students of Class 12, demonstrated various first aid activities including choking,CPR, Bone fractures and Epilepsy to recognize the critical role that first aid plays in emergencies and to promote the importance of having basic first aid skills.
By learning and practicing first aid skills, individuals can become true lifesavers in their homes and communities, contributing to a safer and more prepared world. World First Aid Day serves as a reminder that together, we can make a difference in times of crisis.
