Janmashtami is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna.
The special assembly on “Janmashtami” was conducted by the students of Nursery A, which was a delightful and informative event.
Lord Krishna is considered as one of Lord Vishnu’s most potent incarnations. The festival is also referred to as “Gokulashtami”. Students enthusiastically participated in the significant ceremony of Dahi-Handi where they attempted to emulate the actions of Lord Krishna. They added vibrancy to the event by dancing to the tune of the song “Woh Kisna hai”.
This unique assembly gave the students a chance to experience the activities associated with Janmashtami while also learning about the cultural and religious significance of the festival.
