Vidya Vikas Academy, Senior Secondary section celebrated “Kool School Day” on September 29, 2023, for students of classes 11 and 12. Margaret Mead’s quote, “Children must be taught how to think, not what to think,” served as an underlying theme, highlighting the importance of nurturing students’ ability to think independently and creatively. The event focused on encouraging students to think critically and participate actively. They were required to come dressed in smart casual attire and take part in various activities organized for them in the second half of the day.
The teachers coordinated a diverse range of activities related to the respective subjects which included dumb charades, broken telephone, flip tac toe and the blow up game. These activities not only provided students with opportunities for entertainment but also played a significant role in fostering the overall holistic development of the students.
The students embraced “Kool School Day” wholeheartedly, finding it both relaxing, engaging and insightful.
