On 16th November, 18 students of Class 8ABC visited the Naval Museum, an institution dedicated to preserving and showcasing the illustrious history and technological advancements of naval forces.
The excursion to INS HANSA and the Naval Museum was organized with the primary goal of providing a firsthand experience and insight into the Indian Navy’s operations, technological advancements, and maritime history.
The highlights of the excursion were:
- INS HANSA Tour: The excursion commenced with an immersive tour of INS HANSA, the naval airbase. Witnessing the state-of-the-art facilities, including hangars and aircraft maintenance areas. Participants had the opportunity to interact with naval personnel, gaining insights into their roles and responsibilities.
- Naval Museum Exploration: The Naval Museum served as a treasure trove of maritime history. Exhibits showcasing historical naval vessels, artifacts, and technological evolution captivated the attention of all participants.
- Interactive Sessions: Engaging discussions and interactive sessions with naval officers and museum guides enriched the experience. Participants were encouraged to ask questions, fostering a deeper understanding of naval operations, aviation technology, and the legacy of the Indian Navy.
In conclusion the excursion to INS HANSA and the Naval Museum was an enriching and educative experience. It provided a holistic view of naval aviation, historical milestones, and the multifaceted roles of the Indian Navy.
