The Leadership Camp held at Vidya Vikas Academy for Class 5 students on 7th November was a transformative experience, fostering essential leadership skills and teamwork. The day commenced with the morning prayer and a refreshing Yoga session led by Tr. Ashutosh, setting a positive tone for the day.
A hearty breakfast was followed by an engaging leadership session conducted by Mr. Alan D’Souza and Mr. Arul. Through a series of activities, they skillfully illustrated various qualities of a leader.
The mid-morning session, orchestrated by Tr. Ballika, Tr. Manju, and Tr. Ashutosh, involved group games that emphasized coordination and effective communication. After a well-deserved lunch and rest, an art session provided a platform for students to collaborate in creating vibrant puppets. The subsequent drama session, facilitated by Tr. Kimberly, allowed students to express themselves through a compelling skit.
As the day unfolded, Tr. Mamta, Tr. Cidroy , and Tr. Gladson led students in music and dance sessions, adding a creative and energetic dimension to the leadership exploration. Following a tea break, students enthusiastically crafted their own rockets under the guidance of Tr. Sayed. The day concluded with class teachers distributing takeaways, leaving students with not only newfound leadership insights but also a sense of accomplishment and joy.
The leadership camp successfully blended learning and fun, creating a memorable experience for the young leaders of tomorrow.
