The students of Vidya Vikas Academy participated in “Goan Masterminds”- 3rd All Goa Interschool Quiz Contest organised by Konkani Bhasha Mandal’s Ranvindra Kelekar Dyanmandir, to commemorate 57th Goa Opinion Poll Day or “Asmitai Dis”.
After clearing the online preliminary round held on 12th January 2024, two teams – first, Anvay Sardessai (8A), Vishnudattan (8B) and second, Ishika Naik (9A), Ananya Naik (9A)- were qualified for the contest, which was held on 16th January 2024. Out of 117 teams from all over Goa, only 25 teams were selected.
The questions were themed on Goan culture, heritage, sports and achievers. Anvay Sardessai (8A) and Vishnudattan (8B) reached up to the quarter finals where as Ishika Naik (9A) and Ananya Naik (9A) were selected among the 10 semi finalists. All the participants were awarded certificates.
This was a great learning experience for the students who took great pride in Goan Culture and heritage.
