“Reading and Learning gives creativity, creativity leads to thinking, thinking provides knowledge and knowledge makes us great.”
Keeping in mind the resonance of the above-mentioned words, Vidya Vikas Academy organised activity of the month ‘Know Your Author’ on 23rd January 2024 for students of classes 6 to 8. The objective of the competition was to test the learners’ knowledge and foster reading spirit among the students.
A quiz was conducted for each class as the base qualifier round after which the qualifiers then had to battle intellectually for final round to secure the title of the winner of ‘Know Your Author’. The questions put forth to the participants were intriguing and exciting. The audience also got a chance to participate every time the participants answered incorrectly.
It was a very informative and knowledge enriching activity for the participants along with the audience. The students displayed ecstatic spirit and enjoyed the quiz to the fullest. Indeed, “Books are uniquely portable magic.”- Stephen King
