In the tapestry of life, every festival is a vibrant thread weaving joy and prosperity. Embrace the spirit of celebration with gratitude and warmth. -Oprah Winfrey
The students of Sr. Kg A had a delightful celebration on January 15, 2024, marking the harvest festivals of Pongal and Lohri.
Guided by their teacher, they explored the significance of these festivities using visuals like pictures and a decorated earthen pot. The kids confidently shared insights about Pongal’s four-day celebration, the preparation of sweet dishes with ingredients like milk and jaggery, and the tradition of worshipping cattle.
Lohri’s celebration included a bonfire, symbolizing the return of longer days, and the students, donned in traditional attire, revelled in dancing to Bhangra and Gidda beats. The event brought an air of joy and prosperity to their class assembly, setting a cheerful tone for the upcoming season.
