Under the Vidnyan Dhara 2024 Mega Science series, Dr. Mridini Gawas from Goa University, Mathematic Department organised a session on Vedic Mathematics for sixth-grade students at Vidya Vikas Academy on 15th February 2024. The session focused on expediting basic mathematical operations, such as addition and subtraction involving three or more digits, multiplication of two or more digits, and finding squares and square roots. The interactive session engaged the students actively as they eagerly applied the newly learned techniques to solve problems swiftly. The students found the experience enjoyable and gained valuable insights into enhancing their mathematical skills.
