A talk on herbal plants and their importance was conducted at Vidya Vikas Academy on Friday, 23rd February 2024.
The objective of the talk was to raise awareness and expose our students to rare, genuine medicinal plants and saving plants that are threatened.
The resource person , Mrs. Tejaswini Pusaluru, Deputy Conservator of Forests, Research and Utilisation, as well as CEO of State Medicinal Plants Board, promulgated the importance of herbal plants and spoke about the fascinating world of medicinal plants, their uses, and the joy of seeing them grow.
The students were also shown the important parts of various herbal plants and the benefits of the same were explained.
Overall,it was a great opportunity for the students to learn about the herbal plants and their benefits from such eminent personalities.
