World Music Day Celebration – Pre-Primary Section

World Music Day in the Pre Primary Section was held on June 20, 2024. The day was filled with excitement, creativity, and a deep appreciation for the universal language of music.

The morning began with a special assembly where our preschoolers amazed everyone by dressing up as famous musicians and singers. From Elvis Presley to Taylor Swift & Lorna Cordeiro, their costumes reflected their enthusiasm for music. The assembly highlighted the importance of music in our lives, showcasing how it brings people together and evokes emotions.

Various activities were conducted where children had the opportunity to explore different musical instruments through an interactive instrument exploration session.

Sr. Kg students, a quiz and trivia session on music added an element of fun and learning. They enthusiastically participated.

Jr. Kg students showed their creativity by making Rainsticks using tissue paper rolls, pulses and grains. This hands-on activity enhanced their fine motor skills and introduced them to the concept of sound production through simple instruments.

The highlight of the day was the instrument coloring activity for the Nursery class students. They expressed their creativity by decorating  various instruments. The Playschool students had circle instrument exploration. The day concluded with a lively jam session. Children danced to upbeat music.

The World Music Day celebration was a great success, thanks to the dedication of our teachers and the active participation of our students.
