Vidya Vikas Academy celebrated World Music Day on June 21st, 2024, with a vibrant event to commemorate the power and beauty of music.The day included inspiring activities to celebrate the universal language of music.
An uplifting music video showcased talented musicians from different cultures, emphasizing the unity music brings. This was followed by renowned musician’s videos which showcased their journeys, struggles, and achievements, inspiring students to pursue their passion for music. Five bands of students from 1st to 12 Std presented captivating performances in genres ranging from fusion and covers to classic-rock, showcasing talent and fostering camaraderie.
The highlight of the day was a captivating performance by rapper-Tsumayoki aka Nathan Mendes who is also our Alumni and Mrs. Vian Pereira with her soulful cello performance along with her team.
The students learnt about the importance of music in their lives and how to pursue music as a career. They also learnt various genres of music and were inspired through various performances.
