The Pre-Primary Section commemorated Independence Day with great enthusiasm during a Special Assembly held on August 14, 2024. The event commenced with a presentation explaining the significance of Independence Day. Children, dressed as freedom fighters, highlighted their contributions to India’s struggle for independence and learned about the roles these historical figures played. The children also shared insights about India’s national symbols, which enhanced their understanding of the effort involved in creating their bulletin board displays. The assembly concluded with a vibrant dance performance, reflecting the children’s confidence and celebration of our nation’s freedom. To reinforce the concepts discussed during the assembly, a brief quiz was administered by Teacher Sherianne. The pre-primary children participated in making tri-color sandwiches, which represented the colors of the Indian national flag.
