“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.” -Ansel Adams
The special assembly commemorating World Photography Day was held to celebrate the art and significance of photography.
The assembly began with a warm welcome by class 9 student Ms. Drishya Warrier, who emphasized the role of photography in documenting and shaping our world. A presentation was made and displayed to give a brief introduction about the day. A few photographs of our school were also displayed to mark the occasion. Selected students presented a skit on choosing a career in photography.
The World Photography Day special assembly helped the students to understand the history of photography and its evolution from early techniques to modern digital methods. Moreover, the event inspired the attendees to explore their own creative potential.
