Vidya Vikas Academy commemorated World Photography Day with a vibrant celebration centered around this year’s theme, “An Entire Day” with an objective to celebrate the art, history, and technology of photography while honoring the role of photographers in capturing and documenting the world’s beauty, challenges, and pivotal moments.
A special assembly featured renowned photographer Mr. Harsh Kamat, who provided valuable insights into the field of photography and served as a judge for the competition. The assembly imparted knowledge about the importance of photography and videos on appreciating myriad photographers from the conception of creating photographs were shown.
The knowledge of handling a camera and clicking pictures in a frame with gridlines were the key takeaways.
The event included a photography competition for students from Classes 1-12 and VVA staff, encouraging them to explore and capture different aspects of daily life.
