The No School Bag Day for the Pre-Primary Section was held on 30th August 2024, with the theme “Helping Hands.” The day aimed to introduce students to community helpers and their roles through engaging activities.
The event began with an assembly where teachers explained the importance of roles played by the community helpers in the society.
Students from Play School to Senior KG participated in group activities, creating displays of their assigned community helpers. They arrived dressed as their favourite community helpers and shared their admiration in an extempore session, which helped develop their public speaking skills.
The day featured music and dance performances themed around community helpers, as well as a special role-play session by the Speech & Drama teacher. Students also made stick puppets of community helpers as part of a craft activity.
Overall, the day was a success, offering educational and enjoyable experiences that highlighted the importance of various professions while providing a break from routine.
