Hindi Diwas, observed annually on 14th September, was celebrated with enthusiasm at Vidya Vikas Academy on 20th September 2024. The school organized a special assembly for students from Classes 1 to 5 to commemorate the significance of the Hindi language.
The assembly commenced with a brief introduction on Hindi Diwas, explaining its significance and the role of Hindi in the cultural and linguistic fabric of India. Miss Shyla Acharya student of class 4 delivered an insightful address, emphasizing the importance of Hindi in our daily lives and its role in uniting people across the nation.
Class 3 students recited a poem that fostered pride and appreciation for Hindi as our official language.Class 4 students performed a medley of literary pieces, including dohe by Sant Kabir and Tulsi Das, as well as poems by Subhadra Kumari Chauhan showcasing the rich heritage of Hindi literature.
The students also chanted slogans in support of Hindi Diwas, reinforcing the sense of individuality and the connection to their Indian identity. These activities highlighted how the Hindi language deepens our roots and strengthens our bond with the motherland.
