“Tough times don’t last, tough people do. ”― Robert Schuller
This pandemic has been challenging to all and we as teachers had to adapt to a whole new method of teaching wherein we are restricted to our chairs and laptops for long hours preparing online lessons. To break this routine, the recreational committee organized a fun filled and rejuvenating half an hour session for the teachers on 28th August 2021- faculty meeting day which included ‘Laughter Yoga’ and a dance session.
The laughter yoga session was conducted by Sir Ashutosh who guided the teachers through this meaningful and beneficial form of exercise to relieve pain, lower the stress levels, increase oxygen levels and heart rate and most importantly boost your immune system. This session witnessed a riot of laughter wherein teachers felt enthusiastic and charged up.
“ Dance is a healing therapy- you just don’t dance , you live the moment.”- Shraddha Sharma. What form of dance isn’t well appreciated then the dance we enjoy at the weddings! To bring in the wedding vibes, the committee curated a playlist of five popular wedding dances which the teachers would be familiar with so that they could dance their heart out and live the moment. The zealous participation of the teachers displayed their whole hearted ferrrour and enthusiasm.
