Atharv Nadkarni, aged 8, studying in Class 3B secured the 2nd rank in the Wiz National Mega Final round held in July 2021. He stood first in the State of Goa and went on to represent his school, Vidya Vikas Academy at the National level. The final round had many students from all over India. The rubrics that the candidates were evaluated were spell words along with good knowledge of pronunciation, phonetics, and meanings of the words. Atharv was congratulated by the Chief Minister of Goa, Dr. Pramod Sawant, on social media for his achievement.
