The ATL lab aims to create an environment of scientific temperament, innovation,
creativity among students. A key part of innovation involves learning to use the
hardware components in order to design the desirable circuits. The topic “Basic
Electronics “ is introduced for class 7 with the vision to familiarize the students with the basic electronic components used in building circuits.
Exposing children to coding and robotics from a young age helps spark
creativity, stimulates critical thinking, imbues a collaborative mindset and opens up a world of opportunities. With introduction of coding and Robotics to the students of class 9 and 10, they are able to understand the basic syntax of program/code used for interfacing sensors and motors with the prototyping boards such as Arduino.
Web development will be one of the most in-demand skills in the next decade. With 50% of the global population using the internet on a daily basis, it makes sense that tech skills will keep growing in demand. The amount of people using the internet is only going to increase. The website development module was introduced to class 11 with an aim to develop the web development skills within the students. HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) was used for this module.
As Printed Circuit Board (PCB) is very important in all electronic gadgets, which are used either for domestic use or for industrial purposes, the topic PCB Development was introduced to class 12 students with an intent to make them aware of the processes involved in manufacturing PCBs.
