ATL/STEAM Monthly Report

ATL
A key Feature of Atal Tinkering Lab is to provide an opportunity to students to work with tools and technologies to inculcate skills such as problem solving, adaptive learning design mindset. With the reopening of schools, Students got a chance to visit the lab and get hands on practice of the technologies that they were learning through distance learning methods.

With 3D technology being a Trending topic in the recent years, it seemed necessary to provide an introduction to the students about the 3D printing world. Students were briefed about each step involved in 3D Printing, from Designing to slicing and finally the printing. Students were informed about the different kind of printing materials available along with the compatibility of each slicing software with the 3D printer. Students were provided training in designing simple objects using the TinkerCAD web application.

STEAM
STEAM is acronym that stands for Science Technology Engineering Art & Mathematics
The STEAM Lab is a place where creativity is nurtured and students are given guidance on the use of tools available to them to their full potential. Here in the STEAM Lab we encourage the students to think out of the box. They are mentored when making their own projects, along with guidance on using the school resources to further enhance it, like using our 3D printers.

The Senior students have been able to get hands-on training in different fields of technology and the junior children have learnt about astronomy.
Training give include 3D designing and printing, Arduino programming, circuit building, constellation models, etc
