In an emotionally surcharged atmosphere inside the Ganesh Daivajna Auditorium, VVM campus, the students, staff of VVA bade adieu to the students of 2021-2022 batch. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers.
The day began with the traditional lighting of the lamp followed by prayer service. The students of class 11 sang a melodious song to set the mood at the start of the programme. Principal, Mrs. Joble Bijoy has always generously imparted her wisdom to her students and guided them towards the right path. Through her speech, she urged them to strive hard to achieve success and wished them happiness, prosperity in all future endeavours and, also inspired them to leave an indelible mark on the society, thereby making the school proud.
Class 11 students mesmerized everyone by a lovely dance performance on a fusion track. The performance was a treat to the eyes. Miss Ananya Bhembre, the girl General Secretary delivered her speech and shared some memories of the ‘online batch’. There were waves of emotions clinging everyone. A video was then screened highlighting the two years of camaraderie shared by the students and the teachers. The students re-lived their bittersweet memories at the school and during online classes.
The prime attraction of the day was the ramp walk by the seniors during the ‘Master & Miss VVA’ contest. Master Izaan Ahmed won the title of ‘Master VVA’ and Miss Krisha Kolarangatt was crowned as Miss VVA.
School is the second home of the students and the students are the heartbeats of the school. There was a lot of emotion and nostalgia as the students reminisced about their time at the school. The boy General Secretary, Master Izaan Ahmed expressed his heartfelt gratitude to everyone present. He also expressed his thanks to the institution for being instrumental in shaping the personalities of students and providing them with stellar opportunities.
The programme concluded with a message by the Class 11 students, who articulated their sorrow at seeing their seniors leave, and hoped that their paths would cross again in the near future. The day was a memorable one both, for the outgoing batch and the teachers.
