M. E. S. Higher Secondary school in association with the P.T.A organized various online competitions for all the
students of Higher Secondary Schools of Goa to commemorate 60 years of Goa’s Liberation.
The competitions were as follows:
1. Patriotic group singing competition
2. Poster making competition – Covid-19 awareness
3. Photography competition – Historical monuments of Goa
4. Essay writing competition – Changing face of Goa. (1961 – 2022)/ A youth’s vision for Goa/ Goa: 20 years from now.
5. Quiz – General knowledge pertaining to Goa
6. Waste Management Model Competition
Student of Vidya Vikas Academy, Navneet Kumar from class 12 A participated in the Poster making competition and won the second place. Attractive prizes were awarded to all the winners of various competitions. The prize distribution ceremony was held on 17th March 2022 at 9:30 a.m. in Madhav Kamat Seminar Hall of M.E.S. College of Arts and Commerce, Zuarinagar.
