Art workshop/ Artist’s walkthrough at Sunapranta, Goa Centre for the arts visit

‘Exposure to the arts and culture is enormously valuable’ -Kevin Spacey

On the 9th of April 2022, the Art Department of Vidya Vikas Academy organized
a visit to an exhibition / a print making workshop and an artist’s walkthrough, by Ms. Sitara Chowfla in collaboration with Sunapranta, Goa Centre of the Arts, Panjim.
The objective of this visit was to expose students to diverse forms of art, engage them in discussion and give them opportunities to present their opinions and views.
Budding artists of class 10 visited Sunapranta, Goa Centre of the Arts, Panjim.
‘Boundaries’ the art show on display was apt and resonated with the ongoing Ukraine – Russia conflict.
The photographs and sculptures on display were very thought provoking.
Our students also interacted with artist Isa Hinojosa as she gave them some tips on visual art.
A small workshop was conducted in cynotype printing through which students learnt a new printing technique.

The thoughtfully organized programmes amidst calmness added value to our students’ artistic minds!
