On Saturday, 18th June 2022, Vidya Vikas Academy observed Goa Revolution
Day. On this eventful day, students of class 12A (HUMANITIES) conducted an
assembly. The assembly began with a short prayer. The students then spoke about
the events that took place on Goa Revolution Day, its significance and the
contribution of the two freedom fighters, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia and Dr. Juliao
Menezes, who abetted Goa from the Portuguese regime. A short skit based on the
events that took place on 18th June 1946, was enacted by the students. The
assembly concluded with the singing of the national anthem.
