Goa Revolution Day

Goa Revolution Day is also known as ‘Kranti Din’ which is observed on 18th June to recall the sacrifices of freedom fighters and Martyrs of Goa’s liberation struggle.

The people of Goa, under the leadership of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, stood united against the oppressive system of the Portuguese colonial rule in Goa to fight for their civil liberties.

A special assembly was conducted by the students of class 6 to 10 wherein they presented a poem and speech highlighting the contribution of the freedom fighters. Students of class 7C sang a song ‘ Kitlem Sobit Goa Amchem’ to mark the  day. Teacher Merexi D’Silva interacted with the students and conducted a quiz to enhance the knowledge of students about Goa.
