Cyber Security Session

Due to the advent of information and communication technology (ICT) in 21st century, there is a tremendous increase in the usage and dependency on cybernetic in all sphere of human life. On the account of increase in technology, there is an inherent need to get secure while using advanced technologies by keeping a proper vigilance in order to prevent the important information being penetrated and hacked. In this race the teachers have to be aware of the every changing trend of technology and also about the various cyber threats that lurk in cyberspace, to protect themselves and help others be safe from cyber-attacks and increasing threats .A session on online safety and responsible behavior was conducted by the Cyber Wellness Centre team on the 27th of August for all the teachers at VVA.

The Cyber Wellness Centre is located in Panjim and is initiated by the NGO- Responsible Netism. This is India’s first holistic Centre that provides a 360 – degree healing approach through education and training on the prevention of cyber-crimes.

– The different types of cybercrimes happening

–  Awareness about online gaming.

– Age limit to create an online account on social media platforms.

– The cyber laws to curb these crimes
