Himalayan Space Centre organised a session for students of class 9 and 10 of Vidya Vikas Academy on 13th September 2022. Himalayan Space Centre – ISRO registered space tutor (HSC) is an organization with a dedicated team committed to spreading knowledge of astronomy, astronauts and space sciences amongst the next generation. Mr.Afroz Mamun, CEO and Co-Founder of HSC, who is also Space Camp Ambassador for NASA, gave an insight into their programme. He, along with his team, conducted a rocket building activity using simple craft.
The session aimed to develop a variety of astronomy and space science educational concepts through astronomy projects, sessions, tutorials and modules. These are based on the school curriculum for education, catering to requirements of schools and students.
