World Translation Day Special Assembly was held on 30th September 2022 for the students of class 5. The students of class 8 conducted the assembly.
The assembly started with the significance of translation and also provided knowledge about the history of translation. To enhance their knowledge a few interesting facts about translation were shared with the students. The students grooved and sang along to the tune of ‘Hello to All the Children of the World’. A short quiz was conducted by Class 8 students where the audience had to translate sentences from Hindi, Konkani and French to English. The children of class 5 participated actively. The assembly came to an end with a vote of thanks.
The objective of this assembly was to educate and create awareness among the students about the importance of translation for effective communication or even as a career option.
