“The best education you’ll ever get is by traveling. Nothing teaches you more than exploring the world and accumulating experiences.”

In order to promote learning through experience, Vidya Vikas Academy organised its annual educational tour to the city of pearls; Hyderabad for the classes of 6 to 8. 78 students participated in the tour and were accompanied  by 11 staff members. The tour was co-planned with ViVi Tours.  This city of Nawabs was founded by the Qutb Shahi sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah in 1591 CE. Having known the historical significance in an overview of our destination, we spent four days in Hyderabad between 27.10.2022 to 30.10.2022. and each day had systematic and exciting sightseeing planned for us.

On the first day, the students were taken to Salarjung Museum,  Nehru Zoological Park and Sudha Car Museum. On the second day, we visited the World’s Largest Film Studio complex, Ramoji Film City. The students enjoyed participating in  activities like watching the terrific Stunt Show, the Spirit of Ramoji (dance), Bird Park visit and Fun do Stan. The third day, we went on a visit to Chowmala Palace, Charminar, Lumbini Park and enjoyed a boat ride in the Hussain Sagar Lake to reach the Buddha Purnima Complex. On the last day, we had our visit to the Golkonda Fort after which we headed to our last destination of the tour, the Birla Planetarium & Birla Science Museum. The motive of serving wholesome education to students, offering delightful experiences, inculcating self-dependence, being responsible, time management, resource management, taking care of themselves and their belongings, co-operation  were achieved.

The tour has absolutely refined the experience of the students as they have embraced the challenges that came forth. “Travel does make you realize that no matter how much you know, there’s always more to learn as travel is still the most intense form of learning.”
