Commemorating International Chef’s Day, V.M. Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education had organized a cooking competition for higher secondary schools all over Goa on 20th October, 2022. The theme for the competition was “WRAP & Roll – In a Healthy Way”. Sakshi Borkar and Joshua Fernandes of class 12 A participated in this competition. Sakshi Borkar bagged the first place in the cooking competition. She prepared a mouth-watering wrap named ‘Peri Peri Farm Wrap’, a true explosion of flavours on the plate. She was awarded with a certificate of merit and certificate of participation with a grid card for two nights stay in Fairfield by Marriott.
