The students of the Life Skills Resource Room visited, The Sea Queen Resort in Colva on the 20th of January, 2023.
The students were warmly welcomed by Maria, parent of Maxwel Cunha, the staff of the hotel. The hotel had a lot of fun activities like a play park, lawn to play football, swimming pool and a sandpit.The kids made the best of the play park and the huge trampoline, they enjoyed playing football while the others spent time in the swimming pool and sandpit. Parents, children and teachers enthusiastically played football.
The hotel arranged for snacks like nuggets, french-fries, sandwiches and thirst quenching watermelon juice. For lunch they had a big spread of Indian/ Continental foods which was relished by the students.
This excursion gave the students an opportunity to improve their social and communication skills. They not only interacted with the staff but also communicated their likes/ dislikes and needs in a new environment.
The students presented a thank you card to the manager for their kind generosity and warm hospitality. It was a fun filled day spent together with lots of fun activities and great memories.
