“If you are brave enough to say goodbye, life will reward you with a new hello”
28th January 2023, saw the Vidya Vikas family come together to wish yet another batch of class 10 students, love and luck as they embark on a new journey.
The programme commenced at 9 am with a solemn prayer service. This was followed by an address by the Principal, Mrs Joble Bijoy, who generously imparted her wisdom to the pupils and guided them towards the right path. She expressed her desire to see all the students at the great height of success and commended them for smoothly taking on responsibilities and setting a remarkable example for their juniors
A very touching speech was delivered by the Head Boy, Ethan Faleiro, who shared his experiences at school from Nursery to class 10.
Exciting spot prizes were given to the children and an exciting game was conducted which kept them on their toes. The zealous performances by class 9 students in the form of melodious music and dances set their feet tapping. This was followed by the distribution of mementos to cherish their memories spent at the Academy.
Rachel D’souza, Head Girl, expressed her gratitude towards the school and thanked the teachers and students of class 9 in her vote of thanks. The students of class 10 were very happy with the wonderful farewell given to them by the staff and students. The day was filled with nostalgia, fun and excitement as they were eager to embark on their journey to a world of newer horizons.
