Every new beginning comes from the end of some other beginning! Like the mellow rays of the
departing sun, the end of a chapter falls tenderly, yet sadly, on the heart! On 7th February, 2023, the teaching staff of Vidya Vikas Academy’s Senior Secondary section organized a farewell party for the students of Class XII (2022-23) in the School hall. The venue was beautifully decorated and well lit. Students were welcomed by the staff with a sweet to symbolize their journey full of lovely and sweet memories at VVA. The party saw students dressed in formals and most
importantly, wearing an enthusiastic smile on their faces to bid goodbye to yet another stage in their lives.
The function commenced with a prayer service. A hymn “Go light the world” was played, while the students, with closed eyes and candle lit in their hands, embarked on a journey of
retrospection and reminiscence. The teachers prayed that God may provide the students with wisdom, understanding and confidence as they face the world outside. Principal, Mrs. Joble Bijoy in her address to the students reminded them that they are on the threshold of a new beginning and advised them to make choices and decisions wisely.
Later, the General Secretary, Tiya Naik expressed her gratitude to the teaching & the non-teaching staff for the efforts they put in moulding them & preparing them to face the challenges ahead. The students were presented with a memento of their class group photograph by the Vice-Principal and Principal.
A group dance by Class XI and a melodious song sung by the students added colors to this function. The General Secretary, Rishith Pai delivered a vote of thanks. Later, the most awaited event – Mr and Ms. VVA began with a lot of zeal. The winners of the 2022-2023 Mr. and Ms.VVA contest were: Mr.VVA-Rishith Pai and Ms.VVA-Stuti Agarwal.
