National Science Day is celebrated annually on February 28th to honour the discovery of the “Raman Effect” by the Indian physicist, Sir C V Raman. The theme for National Science Day 2023 is “Global Science for Global Wellbeing”.The theme reflects the importance of science in addressing global issues and promoting wellbeing worldwide. National Science Day is celebrated to spread a message about the importance of science used in the daily life of people.
As part of the National Science Day celebrations, science activities were conducted in Vidya Vikas Academy’s Senior Secondary section for students of Class 11. They enthusiastically participated in various activities like poster making, collage making, preparation of models and performing various science experiments.These activities aimed to increase the students’ appreciation of the role of science in addressing global issues and promoting global wellbeing.
