The students of Vidya Vikas Academy set out on the monsoon trek on 22nd August 2023, to Chandradeshwar Parvat, Paroda, Goa.
The trek uphill was about 5 kilometres and the trail was difficult. However, the students climbed the incline enthusiastically. There was a light drizzle on the way uphill and students enjoyed the scenic beauty of the area. The view from top was breathtaking.
The students were assembled in the parking area of the temple to rest and have refreshments. The students played traditional games like Kho kho and Kabaddi.
To add to the excitement, it rained heavily and the students enjoyed themselves playing in the rain. They were further thrilled to see a number of wild monkeys and rare species of birds. These treks give the opportunity to do something challenging that no other activity would do. They relax you and calm you as you enjoy in the laps of nature. The students of Vidya Vikas Academy thoroughly enjoyed the monsoon trek and went home with unforgettable memories.
