Vidya Vikas Mandal’s Vidya Vikas Academy hosted the 23rd Annual Athletic Meet on 7th December, 2022. Students from class 1 to 12 participated with great ardour and manifested their athletic skills with perfection. The School ground was filled with zeal and exhilaration as the students brimmed with excitement. The chief guest for the day was Miss Anura Prabhudessai international level badminton Player. President of Vidya Vikas Mandal, Mr. Nitin Kunkolienker and the Board member and Chairperson of the Sports Council of Vidya Vikas Mandal, Mr. Vikram Verlekar also graced the occasion.
A well-orchestrated opening performance by the students displayed beautiful manoeuvres and kick started the day. An impeccable march past was displayed by the students of class 8 to 10, followed by the Torch Relay. The students enchanted the audience with their athletic skills in various events and the gathering was all eyes for the colourful drills like Pom Pom Drill, Calisthenics Drill, Yoga Drill and Dumbell Workout Drill. The programme concluded with the prize distribution at the hands of the chief guest.
