Indoor board games help in development of problem solving skills, brain stimulation and relieves stress.
With this thought in mind, an ‘Indoor board games development project’ was designed for students of class 8ABC.
This group activity involved research, brain storming, planning and execution of functional indoor board games that can keep the students engaged during free periods. Students were encouraged to use pre used cardboards, bottle caps, clay etc. and other cost effective materials. Besides some creative ideas, regular games such as tic tac toe, chess, ludo and others were recreated with a twist.
This activity was conducted during art periods and was much enjoyed by students.
