Vidya Vikas Academy proudly hosted a captivating and an enthralling musical programme- Asian Saga… A Musical Soirée on 24th and 25th February 2023 at Ravindra Bhavan Auditorium, Margao. The two-day event included power packed performances of students as they presented the vibrant culture of Asian countries with great pomp and show. The words of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow remind us that “music is the universal language of mankind” and this was clearly evident through the graceful musical performances of students. The auditorium resonated with whistles and resounding cheers as students enthralled the audience with their enchanting voices and impressive manoeuvres.
Students gleefully presented the Asian cultures; from the folk dances to the regional dances pertaining to festivals in the countries. The heart winning enthusiasm of students was much appreciated by the Principal who also lauded the efforts of teachers in helping students put up a wonderful display of diverse Asian cultures. The musical show received an overwhelming response and parents as well as well-wishers conveyed their best wishes. The flashlights waving in the dark from the enthusiastic audience was a sight to behold. The delightful and content faces of everyone in the auditorium were a proof that the show was a massive success.
