Baisakhi is a vibrant harvest festival celebrated in Haryana and Punjab also marking the beginning of Sikh New Year. During this time, Gurudwaras light up with colourful lights and beautiful flowers. A special assembly on ‘Baisakhi’ was organised by the Pre-Primary section of Vidya Vikas Academy. The students were made aware of the significance of the festival in simple words. They enjoyed themselves dancing to a lively Punjabi song called ‘Bolo Tara Rara’. It was a joyful celebration where everyone felt happy and united.
Baisakhi reminds us of the blessings of nature and the importance of coming together as a community to celebrate and appreciate our culture and traditions.
