Keeping in mind the resonance of the above mentioned words,Vidya Vikas Academy organized an Inter Class quiz competition as the activity of the month for August, titled ‘Battle of Books’ for the students of classes 6 to 8. The fervent participants of each class gave a tough fight to each other in all rounds. The aim of the competition was to test the learners’ knowledge and foster reading spirit among the students.
The quiz was conducted in each class as the base qualifier round after which the qualifiers then had to battle intellectually for round 2, to secure the title of the winner of “Battle of the Books”. The questions put forth to the participants were intriguing and exciting. The audience also got a chance to participate every time, the participants answered incorrectly.
Ms. Chiara D’Costa of class 8C secured the first place and Master Wazir Baig of class 7B stood second. The students showcased their brilliance by rapidly answering the questions. It was a very informative and knowledge enriching competition for the participants along with the audience. The students displayed ecstatic spirit and enjoyed the quiz to the fullest.
