Botanical Descripion:
A perennial creeping herb giving roots at the nodes with numerous ascending branches.
The leaves of this plant are succulent, oblong. Leaves are arranged oppositely on the stem. The flowers are small, actinomorphic and white, with four to five petals. It can even grow in slightly brackish conditions.
Propagation: Plant cuttings about 4-5 cm long.

Medicinal uses: Brain tonic, speech, cardio-tonic, asthma and blood purifier.
How is it used?:
2-4 tsp of juice is taken with equal quantity of water and drunk once a day before food.
¼-½ teaspoon Brahmi churna, with honey before or after lunch and dinner.
