On 25th November 2024, Vidya Vikas Academy hosted a special assembly to celebrate Daan Utsav, India’s “Joy of Giving Week.” The event focused on raising awareness about the importance of giving and inspiring students to contribute to the lives of those in need, particularly children in orphanages.
The assembly featured a thought-provoking video that highlighted the challenges faced by underprivileged children and emphasized the power of hope and kindness. A skit performed by students brought this message to life, portraying how simple acts of sharing can transform lives. The narrative underscored the importance of empathy and collective effort in bringing joy to others.
As part of the celebration, a Donation Drive was launched, inviting students to donate books, toys, clothes, food commodities, and other essentials. This initiative aims to support orphaned students and encourage a spirit of generosity among the school community.
Through this assembly, the students were inspired to take meaningful action, embodying the true spirit of giving and making a positive difference in society.
