Vidya Vikas Academy organised a workshop on AeroArtistry for the students of class 5 and 6 on November 6th, 2023, and for classes 7 and 8 on November 7th, 2023. The workshop aimed at creatively introducing aeronautics to students, while engaging students in hands-on activities and discussions. The session for classes 5 and 6 focused on the basics, while the students of class 7 & 8 explored advanced concepts in the given field.
Students learned the basics of aeronautics by creating paper planes, understanding principles of lift and aerodynamics and gained knowledge about the different parts of an aircraft through hands-on assembly and disassembly exercises.
Exploring the artistic side of aeronautics, students applied creative skills in designing and decorating their paper planes and progressed to constructing ultra-light aeroplanes using specialised kits, gaining practical insights into aircraft engineering. The workshop successfully combined science and creativity, thus meeting its goal.
