Lord Ganesh is looked upon as the lord of wisdom and knowledge. Ganesh Chaturthi, an auspicious Hindu Festival is celebrated all over India with gaiety and religious fervor to commemorate the birth of Lord Ganesha.
The students of Pre-Primary observed Ganesh Chaturthi through a Special Assembly conducted on 13th September, 2023 with great enthusiasm. The significance of the festival was gracefully explained by Tr. Ashwini along with the students followed by the aarti which too was accompanied by the students playing on their musical instruments. The pupils performed an enactment under the guidance of Tr. Fernanda. Three obeisance dances by Jr. Kg. A, B, and C pupils to the tune of Ganesh Chaturthi songs added splendor to the entire assembly. The Parents who were invited for the assembly applauded the efforts of the students who independently executed their dialogues and dance performances without assistance on stage. The procession with the Lord Ganesha’s idol making way for immersion with music, dancing and chanting Ganapati Bappa Morya was enjoyed by Students,Teachers and Parents.The celebration concluded with vote of appreciation by Tr Lynette.
