“Goa Revolution Day” assumes a great significance as it marks the beginning of a revolution that strengthened and gave a definitive direction to Goa’s Freedom Movement. It’s the occasion to remember the supreme sacrifice of our freedom fighters who shed their blood for the liberation of Goa. A special assembly was conducted on the 18th of June in our school. At the assembly, the students were briefed about the importance of the date 18th June in Goa. Students were shown a video of our two important freedom fighters Dr. Ram Monohar Lohia and Dr. Juliao Menezes. Two of the students recited a beautiful poem in Konkani titled “Eighteenth June”. At the end of the assembly, a short quiz session was conducted based on Goa Revolution Day.
